Affiliate Advertising Vs Pay Per Click
Which will make you more money, affiliate marketing where you get a commission, or Pay Per Click like Google Adsense and YPN?
Well from what I've read it depends on your subject matter, but Robyn at Practical Blogging has delved in a little deeper and run the numbers.
Over the last year I’ve become more and more jaded with Google Adsense and YPN. Both are very popular and Cinderella stories about the vehicles abound. However, for most, they are not the vehicle through which you can quit your day job.
I personally have had limited experience with affiliate marketing, though I do receive a check here and there from them. I've been planning on investigating and experimenting more with it, but have been rather busy recently with other things.
I'll get around to it eventually and post the results.

It was when I really crunched the numbers that I got more interested in affiliate marketing. I decided I needed to at least *try* to make some money with this vehicle. I can't make it on an adsense income of a few hundred dollars a month.
By the way, I like your sidebar w/your feed chicklets. Very clean...
Thanks for the link!
I like CPL deals better. I think that you overlooked this huge area of affiliate marketing. I run reunion.com and that cpl program is better than adsense or % of sale programs.
I haven't investigated Cost Per Lead stuff yet Aaron. I'm definitely interested in it.
Hello guys I prefer affiliate marketing where you get a commission because I think that this is better.
I have just entered in affiliate marketing. I have done well with adsense in the past but struggling in this field.
