It seems Google AdSense is testing video ads on some sites. Google Rumors noticed them and posted this screenshot of one found over at The Superficial.

All I have to say is Ugh. I personally think the more complicated the ad the longer a page takes to download and the more it takes away from the website. Quick and clean is the way to go in my opinion.

Google has also been testing Rich Media Ads

Quick and clean is the way to go in my opinion.

Ain't that the truth, last night I was browing through CNET and even their non-text ads were killing me. Aside from the fact they were affecting my load time those type of busy ads just give me a headache.
