AdSense Revenue Down Dramatically

I don't know if it's just me or if others are experiencing the same thing, but my AdSense revenue has been down to about 1/5th of what it was. Is this punishment by Google for me trying out Yahoo! Publishers Network? Or is there something diabolical going on?

My clickthrough rate is in the toilet, but I haven't changed much from what it was previously. Same placement and colors as before.

This leads me to one of two conclusions.

• My traffic quality is crap


• Google is showing horrible ads

While my traffic quality could be crap it seems to be coming from the same sources as before and looking for the same information. So I have come to conclude that Google is serving me horrible ads.

I'm not sure why this would be, it's been a good couple days since I switched back. One other possibility is that maybe someone had been site targeting me with a decent ad campaign and when I removed the Google AdSense they went away.

I hope it gets back to the levels it was at before the switch. This is horrible.
